Student Council
Coolidge has an active Student Council. Student Council members sell lollipops once or twice a month on Fridays after school. They also manage a school store which is open Mondays and Thursdays after school. The money raised is used to purchase Accelerated Reader materials. At Christmas, a tree is decorated by Student Council members. The student body brings canned goods to donate to the Salvation Army and places them under the tree. The Student Council members box the canned goods for distribution to the Salvation Army.

Two Student Council members are elected at the beginning of the school year from each of the fifth and sixth grade classes. Officers are elected from those members with all fifth and sixth graders voting by secret ballot. The officers vote on are President, Vice-president, and Secretary. Student Council members must maintain a "C" or better in all subjects and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times by demonstrating good citizenship.
