The Irish Ambassadors is a group that was designed to reach out to the students in ways that the counselors could not always reach.

They are recommended by their teachers if they are known to be caring about other students, good role models, and maintain a 3.25 grade average.

They attend 15 hours of training in mediation, confidentiality, child abuse, and eating disorders.

Their roles as Ambassadors are to be greeters for new students, taking them on tours of the building and sitting with them at lunch, and mediators of students in conflicts. They also attend 7:30 am meetings listening to speakers regarding teen problems, so they can help other teens when they see the opportunity. Overall, their job is to provide a support system for other students.
