Welcome to the Glenwood Library

The Glenwood Library serves the students, faculty and parents. Mrs. Janet Coontz is the library media specialist at Glenwood. Mrs. Cynda Sheets is the library assistant in the mornings. The library also uses parent and student volunteers. Contact Mrs.Coontz if you would like to volunteer.

Our library has a wide variety of materials including picture books, fiction chapter books and nonfiction books for students to use for personal pleasure reading as well as for class assignments. This core collection is supplemented by magazines and a large reference materials collection.
A large audio-visual collection provides teachers with kits, videos and other materials to supplement their curriculum in the classroom.

CD-ROM programs and Internet access on library computers enhances and adds to our library program. The library is fully automated which provides for computerized circulation of materials. Students are trained to use the computers to locate library materials. The library currently has nine computers available for students and faculty to use.
