The following are some of the special programs available to Glenwood students.
Honor Choir is open to 5th & 6th graders.
Safety Patrol Cadets help students safely cross traffic each day going to and from school. Ms. McGuire and Mr. Boyer sponsor this program and train the cadets.
Showstoppers is sponsored by Mrs. Salisbury.
DARE Program is a weekly drug education program focusting on fifth grade students. Fifth grade teachers work with the officer in charge of this program.
Band & Orchestra classes are open to sixth graders. They meet Monday-Thursday for thirty minutes. Contact sixth-grade teachers for more information.
Also: Spelling Bee, Sequoyah Reading Program, Reading Counts, LEAP, ACTion, Enrichment, Keyboarding Program, Geography Bee and Positive Action
