EHS to Host Teachers of Tomorrow Reception
Next week, Enid High School hosts its annual celebration of future educators, Teachers of Tomorrow.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15 from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at the EHS library.
Teachers of Tomorrow recognizes senior students planning to study and pursue education as a career after graduation.
“Now more than ever we need the best and brightest in our classrooms,” said Amber Graham Fitzgerald, Executive Director of Human Resources and Communications. “It makes us proud to know that these future teachers realized their love for education in our classrooms. We hope to welcome them back someday as an educator for EPS.”
Teachers of Tomorrow, co-hosted by the Enid Public School Foundation, honors future educators, as well as the EPS teachers who have influenced and mentored them. College representatives from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, University of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma will be at the reception to speak briefly about their programs and campuses, as well as their excitement to welcome EPS graduates.
Students being recognized are Nicole Bushman, Kalina Collins, Raven Conyers, Ashli Davis, Madison Diedrich, Rebecca Geitzenauer, Nolan Riggin, Emma Stewart, and Jordan Villalva.
