Kayla Dickson, EHS teacher and athletic trainer, was recognized for being named the OCA Region 1 Athletic Trainer of the Year.

EPS Cares, the Enid Public Schools Daycare, was recognized for being awarded National Accreditation. This allows them to keep their five star rating for two years.

Lawton Avants, EHS senior, was recognized as being the Valedictorian of the Class of 2026.

Xander Fee was recognized for being the State Junior High Wrestling Champion of Oklahoma in his weight class. He attends Emerson Middle School.

The board recognized EHS State Swim Meet Qualifiers. Students are: Jack Denney, Joseph Higbee, Taylor Higbee, Levi Lundeby, Ellis Tidenberg, Ryder Simpson, Lyla Brown, Cassidy Lebeda, Lauren Lundeby, Meredith Plummer, Britzy Salcedo De La Torre, and Sophie Shoptese.

The secondary spotlight student at the February School Board meeting was Mitzi Morales. She did an excellent job representing Longfellow Middle School.

Adalyn Anderson, Hoover Elementary PreK student, led the Pledge of Allegiance at the February school board meeting. She did an excellent job!

There will be no school for students on Monday, February 16, for staff professional development. We will see students again on Tuesday, February 17.

This Saturday is the 5th Annual EEBL Boys’ Tournament. The tournament features the 4th and 5th Grade teams from all 11 of our Elementaries. Doors Open at 7:30 am, admission is free! Come out and support our Future Plainsmen Basketball Players!
