The Enid Public School Foundation is pleased to recognize future educators in a ceremony known as Teachers of Tomorrow.

The Enid High School students will be honored at the annual Education Celebration scheduled for March 4 at 5 p.m. in the Enid High School gymnasium. The public is encouraged to join.

Teachers of Tomorrow recognizes senior students planning to study and pursue education as a career after graduation.

“Now more than ever we need the best and brightest in our classrooms,” said Janna Jackson, Director of the EPS Foundation. “It makes us proud to know that these future teachers realized their love for education in EPS classrooms. We hope to welcome them back someday as an educator for EPS schools.”

Teachers of Tomorrow honors future educators, as well as the EPS teachers who have influenced and mentored them.

Students being recognized are Lizy Dougherty, Myah Helms, Rebecca Key, Meleah Martin, Yesennia Mendoza, and Maia Sylestine.

The Education Celebration includes the announcement of District Rookie, Support Professional, and Teacher of the Year.
