Heroes aren’t just in movies or comic books.
They’re teachers who never give up, first responders who run toward danger, neighbors who help without being asked, and friends who show up when it matters most.
We’re surrounded by heroes every day. Take a moment to thank one. ❤️
Thank you, for being our HERO- Officer Fleer, Officer Rios( not pictured), Nurse Cristina, Nurse Cynthia

Students across the district had a great Read Across America week! We had visitors from EPS admin to community members, from Enid High students to military members serving overseas sharing their love of reading with EPS kiddos.

We love our Maintenance Department! Today we are celebrating Maintenance Appreciation Day.
To our amazing staff behind the scenes: Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and skill that keep our schools clean, heated, air conditioned, and safe! We know students learn best in environments where they feel safe and cared for and our maintenance team is a big part of making that happen.

Dr. Hartwick’s Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness class today focused on preparing Spam Mumbsi. It was a great hands-on lesson in food preparation while learning about utensils, ingredients, cooking techniques, food groups, and kitchen safety. It was a good reminder that cooking is not just about the food, but also about understanding how to prepare it safely and use the right tools.

🎓 Freshman Class Visit to NWOSU!
Our freshmen had an exciting opportunity to visit Northwestern Oklahoma State University and start thinking about their future after high school. Through the GEAR UP for College program, students explored the campus, learned about college life, and discovered the many possibilities that await them after graduation.
Experiences like this help our students see that college is within reach and encourage them to start planning early for their goals. We’re proud of our freshmen for taking this step toward their future!

Enid High School's Teacher of the Year is Nikki Salinas!
Ms. Salinas is an English teacher at EHS and also works with AP Seminar students. She loves building relations with students that last well beyond graduation. She says, "I love the laughter in the halls, the lightbulb moments, and the small, everyday joys that make this work a gift. If anything, this recognition is just another way to celebrate the people who've helped me grow and the students who keep me inspired."
Congratulations Ms. Salinas, we appreciate your dedication to our Plainsmen and Pacers!
