EPS Teacher Career Fair Slated for March 27

Enid Public Schools is thrilled to host their annual Teacher Career Fair.

The fair is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, at 4:00 p.m. in the Administrative Services Center board room, 500 S. Independence. EPS administrators will be available to speak with potential applicants, accept resumes, and have extended interviews from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.

All candidates with a college degree, education related or otherwise, are welcome to attend and learn about how to become a teacher in EPS schools.

“Our administrators are looking forward to meeting this year’s candidates looking to join the EPS team,” said Jane Johnson, Director of Human Resources and Communications. “We’re excited to continue excellence in our schools and hire the best of the best for the 2026-27 school year!”

EPS boasts a competitive starting salary, paying an average $3,800 more per step than the state scale, as well as a $2,000 signing bonus for standard certification in early childhood, secondary math, secondary science, special education, and world language.

EPS provides 1:1 technology for all students, every school has newly added classrooms and secure entrances, character education district-wide, and Enid High School has a state-of-the-art competitive gymnasium and performing arts center. EPS also boasts an affordable childcare center, EPS Cares, for current employee’s own children.
