We had the best time celebrating 100 years of McKinley Elementary on Friday! We enjoyed time with current students, alumni, families, and staff! Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Don't forget to plan to attend our 100 year celebration tomorrow night 5-7. We have games, face painting, bounce house, and food trucks for everyone. McKinley Cardinals ( we used to be the Bombers) are turning 100 years old!

These students earned the most points for the entire year. Each house point leader earned a special prize for their dedication of being an example of what it means to be a McKinley Cardinal. Also...... Altruismo 🖤🐍🖤🐍 won overall house winner for this school year. Stay tuned to learn more info about their special after school party that will take place soon.

We have some talented artists in the making here at EPS! The 2nd annual Elementary Art Show was a huge success last night, we love showcasing how our students are learning and growing through art integration!

Spring means we get to see new life come into existence in nature! Flowers, grass, and BUTTERFLIES! 3rd has been studying, caring for, and got to release butterflies that they watched grow from caterpillars!

Students across the district had a great Read Across America week! We had visitors from EPS admin to community members, from Enid High students to military members serving overseas sharing their love of reading with EPS kiddos.

We're so thankful for everyone who showed up for our awesome students this week!

We love our Maintenance Department! Today we are celebrating Maintenance Appreciation Day.

To our amazing staff behind the scenes: Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and skill that keep our schools clean, heated, air conditioned, and safe! We know students learn best in environments where they feel safe and cared for and our maintenance team is a big part of making that happen.

McKinley Elementary Teacher of the Year is Maggie Sanchez!

Ms. Sanchez is a Kindergarten teacher and loves building the educational foundation of our little learners. Her message to fellow teachers is: "I would say: never underestimate the impact you have. The smallest moments, a kind word, a patient gesture, a spark of encouragement can change a child’s life."
