Originally from New York City, “Coach Irv” as he is affectionately called by Enid students, formerly coached on the junior college level with ASA College in Brooklyn, NY and on the prep school level with Tennessee Preparatory Academy in Memphis, TN & OnPoint Academy in El Reno, OK.
“Basketball has the power to bring a community together, and I’m committed to leading a program our school and town can be proud of,” said Irving. “We will compete with heart, play with pride, and hold ourselves to the highest standard every practice, every game, every day.”
“Basketball is more than a game… it's a classroom for life,” said Irving, “My goal is to help our players grow not just as athletes, but as leaders, teammates and people ready to face any challenge.”
