Thursday, April 30th

We had so much fun wearing our Pokémon gear, bringing our favorite Pokémon characters and cards ( to teach Mrs. Silva all the names of all the characters 😉 ), planting grass seed with Miss Ciara and doing some science while eating “Perfect Popsicles”!

Friday we celebrated the end of state testing with Scoops Ice Cream! It was a beautiful day and fun celebration!

🖍️✏️ NAME DAY! 🖍️✏️
After a year full of learning how to recognize our names, spell and write our names and identify all the letters in our names, we decided to find fun and creative ways to WEAR OUR NAMES in celebration of Letter Nn!

Everyone came up with neat ways to wear their name! Our friend, Hunter, wore camo and brought a deer mount “stuffie” to share while our friend, Lyla, even celebrated from a sick day at home!

WE KNOW OUR NAMES…WE LOVE OUR NAMES! OUR NAMES ARE WHAT MAKE US “UNIQUE and SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS”!

ORANGE YOU GLAD YOU’RE IN PRE-K?!
WE SURE ARE! And, we decided to celebrate Letter Oo by wearing Mrs. Silva’s most favorite color…
🍊🧡 ORANGE 🧡🍊!!!!!!

“Signing Day” for Ms.Day’s 2nd graders. Annual bring a white shirt and get creative with lasting memories. We then topped it off with the Scoops ice cream truck!!! Thank you Mrs. Owens for the celebration for Glenwood. Go Grizzlies 🐻✍️🛻

Monday, April 27th

🌟🏎️🍄 MARIO BROTHERS DAY! 🍄🏎️🌟
We dressed up as our favorite characters, we played I SPY MARIOKART and we listened to Mario Brothers “music” while we used MARKERS to color our super fun coloring sheets! Bowser and Princess Peach were the most requested in our class!

KOOL-AID, KARAOKE, LEGOS and LEMONADE! 🎤🧱🍋🤩🍋🧱🎤
We had soooooo much fun while we were mixing up Koolaid, singing songs and dancing, building with Legos and taste testing some sweet n’ sour lemonade! YUMMMMMY!

Just like they sing in the LEGO Movie…

I SCREAM…YOU SCREAM…WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!
We each picked out a topping that we wanted to bring, to share with our classmates for the Ice Cream Sundae Party! We enjoyed creating our own unique sundae and it was such YUMMY GOOD FUN! 🍨💖🤪💖🍨

Wednesday, April 22nd

We took a walk through our very own JURASSIC PARK, today for Letter J! We sang and danced to some super fun dinosaur songs, read a super cool book called LIFE-SIZED DINOSAURS where we had great discussions about carnivores, herbivores and compared dinosaur sizes. We snuggled our dinosaur stuffies and took a vote for our MOST FAVORITE DINOSAUR and guess what…T-REX WON!

And do you know what really makes us roar and giggle?! Mrs. Silva is scared of DINOSAURS?! 🦕🦖😬🦖🦕
