Wednesday, May 6th
We celebrated FRIENDSHIP and the Letter Tt by having a TOY STORY DAY! We each got a personalized “movie ticket” ( made by Ms LaLoni ) to attend an exclusive showing of the classic TOY STORY at Mrs. Silva’s Movie “Theater”! We stopped to get our popcorn and candy before being shown to our seats as the show began…and later in the day, we had a special show n’ share of our MOST FAVORITE TOY from home!
Miss Anderson's class won 4th qtr attendance and received bomb pops as a treat! They also continued their countdown to summer alphabet with U for Under the Sea!
1st grade had an exciting week with lots of activities! Glow Party!!!

5th Grade had a blast at their class party last week! They went to Spirit Express and Oakwood Bowl!

Miss Anderson's class had a Fiesta to celebrate and learn about Cinco De Mayo! We have been learning about different cultures so this was perfect timing. We made our own piñatas, made our own maracas, and our own papel Picado banners. We even made our own tacos to share. As we learned throughout the day, we listened to some Hispanic and Latin music to feel the vibes! It was super fun! We left wearing sombreros and some new cool glasses from our Photo Booth.🌮🪅
Miss Anderson's students got to vote for each award and who they believe earn the award within their class and the results we were on red carpet day. The kids got to walk the red carpet as their name was announced as the winner for each award!
What a great lesson we learned! 1st grade learned about the life cycle of a lemon, how to make lemonade and so much more. When life gives you lemons....?
